Changes to Travel on the Isle of Mull

Updates and Amendments

to the printed edition of the

Area Transport Guide (Mull and Iona) Summer 2006.

Page 8       If you want to leave Glasgow early please note that the 0830 departure has been accidentally deleted from the main table.

It is due at Inveraray at 1015 and is shown correctly from there.   It is also shown correctly on the summary on p 24.

If you’re travelling from Glasgow on the new 1500 service (1520 from the Airport) please note that there is

NO connecting ferry for Mull on Sundays after 2nd September.   This should be clear from the ferry table on the facing page.

Page 18     If you’re travelling to or beyond Fort William on the afternoon bus from Oban up to and including 13th May please note

that it will depart Oban at 1600.   From 15th May it should run at 1640 as shown.    No other journey or connection is affected.

But please heed our advice on page 19 and check all journeys Oban-Fort William and Fort William to Inverness before travel.

Page 21     If you’re going for a ferry to Arran, Islay or Portavadie please note that service 448 which links Claonaig, Kennacraig and

Tarbert has changed as predicted in our footnote.   You’ll find the new times on p21 of this site.   You can also get

a full colour leaflet at outlets on Mull or from public.transport@argyll-bute.gov.uk  ) 01546 604360.    From 17th April this service

will be operated by West Coast Motors.

We apologise for these shortcomings.

Thank you for checking.
